People can help stop Poverty in many ways. Some of them are:
1. Sponsoring a child, which not only helps that one child, it helps that child's whole family and sometimes that child's whole community!!!
2. If you ever get a chance to, go visit the third world country that your sponsor child lives in and live their way for a few days to see what it is like. it would also be a very good experience to meet your sponsor child.
3. My last way that we can help stop Poverty, is to get one of the catalogues that are advertising things that you can buy for people in third world countries. Even just buying one thing, can help someone. For me, even just helping one person makes me feel good.

I remember when I ws in Mrs.Marnica's class we raised $473 and we bought so much stuff from that catalogue to buy for poor people. We nearly had enough money to make a SCHOOL!!!
